This is just something to post in the meantime that should have been posted forever ago. I’ve been so damn busy lately but I am transitioning to stop taking on work and studying more/maintenance on my blog etc. Stay tuned for a new look on the blog too!

So I’ve been working on my site for a long time. I mean a LONG TIME. Its really been a couple of months, but realistically a month straight of pure unattended non-stop work because of other distractions like school/work/etc weren’t so crazy! So anyway here it is(a low bandwidth site is coming soon too)!!! here are some light and very nerdy specs on it! But the whole site is in beta, so expect a lot more content! As soon as the remaining renders in 3ds max are done I’ll add the remaining content, however in the meantime I’ll blog some more and keep you guys posted!

Using the tweenmax TweenEngine (going against the grain of the caurina tweener classes) and as3 greatwhite 2.0. – I seriously can’t get enough of Papervision, and TweenMax, they are such powerful robust classes! I will do a “hello world” tutorial on them soon, because there aren’t many lol.

Ok, so imagine you want to send your friend a video in chat, post a cool video, etc, and its like 10 mins long and you only want to show 1 part of the video?! Well recently youtube added comment time feature, but it doesn’t show up in the URL. SO HERES HOW TO DO IT!!!!
1.Say you have this vid you would like to send to someone and the really funny part is at 2:13

Hey so my server went down…:( lol and it really screwed everything up. My traffic was great and now… its so low now because when I look at my analytics for where the blog is linked, its all screwed up and going to the wrong places unfortunately! But hey, no sweat! I’m gonna make the best of the situation and this post is to inform you that the blog is going to get some little aesthetic updates(got some great ideas I want to put together), and after the success of my first video tutorial….(drumroll please lol)I’m launching a mini video series on my blog! What is it? I’m going to give a full comprehensive tutorial on how to learn photoshop to… lets say an intermediate level. Maybe I’ll then do another series on…. hmmm 3ds max, possibly the basics of afterFX, or dreamweaver? not sure though.. I guess it all depends on how much work I take on and when my site launches(which is a whole other ordeal lol). I would like to note though, I think that all these randoms posts I do are interesting so I will continue to do them at the same time as the tutorial vids! So stay tuned as I gather my thoughts and put this series together – My Goal is to make it as easy as possible to understand while remaining full of technical info, but go over it in a way that isn’t dead pan boring like all of those other crappy vids out there (yes I said that lol)!

I have good news HOWEVER!!! 
I have great things in mind and finally got my audio set up at my computer so I can finally (after a couple of setbacks) put out some video blogs on some more interesting and complex topics! But I ran into a couple cool things over the winter break and figured I’d throw them up on my blog because they were so helpful!
Anyway – Well I saw this and was astonished by the quality of some of these brushes… Some of those deviantart.com people literally just make this stuff all day with little to no thanks in return lol. But anyway I figured why not share them with some good friends?! Take a look at the link and try em’ out, I used them on the image above for this post lol with great success…MANY OF THEM ARE HIGH RES. I’m sure you’ll have a great time with them!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

If you browse the internet at all, I’m sure that you have come across some “caturday”, or “lol cats.” The problem is that finding caturday pics are sometimes hard to do because theres never ever enough. I mean you have IcanhazCheeseburger.com, or lolcats.com…or 4chan but still its probably not enough. Caturday pics are like crack, you just can’t get enough, well heres a website thats like giving you the biggest crack rock of all time.. EVER. PREPARE TO NEVER LEAVE THAT SITE AND WASTE A LOT OF TIME.
THE HOLY GRAIL OF CATS!
A bit About Its release – So after a very sudden release of google chrome (via a very creative comicbook release – which is the image above lol), I have had some time to toy around with it and come to some conclusions about it without being caught up with all the hype. I’m going to break this up into three sections… Pros, Cons, and Final review with considerations that you and google should be aware off. In the end I think that we get another player in the deadly browser wars. One that is really going to make a impact on current Internet Explorer and Firefox users, at the very least it will definetly spur some healthy competition between browsers which is great for us all!
1. Homepage Helpers –
The most visited website HomePage/Tab is great for speedy browsing and the integrated Google search along with the “recent bookmarks” is very convenient for people who do a daily run of their bookmarks.
2. Trace Monkey -
Google hired a extremely specialized team of coders to create the javascript engine called “Trace Monkey” in google chrome. The end result is the fastest browser around that just zips through the internet.
3. New Tab System –
Improved Tab system that allows a higher resolution of the screen to be shown, and each own has its own processes…So if 1 tab freezes only that tab becomes unstable while the others remain totally fine.
4. Open Source –
Its Google! Therefore its open source! So lets sit back and see what developers can come up with that will improve your browsing experience!
5. ITS ONLY STILL IN BETA! -
Remember Google Chrome is still in Beta – So bugs and tweaks will be polished out soon!
6. Light, Sleek Interface –
Extremely light and simple Interface which anyone could use, Its so stripped down and anyone who’s browser looks like the picture above will be thrilled that its extremely clean and non cluttered.
1. Nothing Too Ground Breaking -
The most visited HomePage is great and all, but it isn’t all that original… Opera came with this awhile ago, and there are literally dozens of plugins out there for Firefox and internet explorer out there that do the same thing and more! Also its based off of browsing patterns… that means If I wanted to rearrange the sites that I have or remove some I cannot. This may leave some users feeling a little embarassed of there browsing habits when undesired site begin to pop up on the most visted.(porno etc lol) Also the bookmark managing is less than primitive and left me feeling… is this really it?
2. Trace Monkey is the Best… Only right Now though
Although Google Chrome is very fast new data is appearing that shows that the new Firefox engine “V8″that is soon to come out is actually faster than Chrome’s Trace Monkey!
Memory Usage –
We all hate programs that are memory hogs and I personally thought that Firefox was bad, but boy was I wrong! Look at this shot of my PC processes, it shows 5 multiple processes for google chrome. Thats 2 processes for every tab I open and a updater! Firefox only has 2 processes as the most no matter how many tabs I open up, however what google chrome gains with this is if one tab crashes the rest of them don’t. (But with tab recovery who cares?)
4. No Plugin Support –
Although Google is so open source there is one huge thing that amazed me about Google Chrome. NO PLUGINS! Plugins are essential to all modern programs, I simply cannot see anyone completely satisfied with the way Google chrome is right now….Its simply not ENOUGH! What plugins allow programs to do is give the power back to the people, and let them fill their needs way better, and way faster than solid 1.2, 1.3, etc releases based on user input ever could!
5. Peeping Google -more like peeing on your right to privacy? AMIRITE?
After a week or so after the launch, wild rumors about google collecting data about your browsing habits began to surface. After looking into many of them, I can say that this is kind of true. Google chrome’s TOS allows it to follow your browsing history and create a rich profile about you that is used to send advertisements to you via adwords, and can be sent (i.e. sold) to other companies, which is quite frankly BS.
Google Chrome is still in Beta, so we must give it a chance to fully bloom. However what Google Chrome has shown thus far is still quite amazing and in time may capture a large portion of Internet Explorer users and even FireFox users if they play their cards right. I think Its safe to say though that it needs to address the issues at hand properly, or it may just be dismissed by many who won’t care enough to switch over from FireFox, Opera, or Internet Explorer.
In the end I think I personally felt like, “This is it? Thats all?” from Chrome’s release but hopefully with some plugin support, and a rumored change in the TOS I will feel much more comfortable with google chrome. For now I’m stick with Firefox thank you!

Well I’ve been asked alot of questions about my up and coming site.. so I figured that I should release a little teaser image of what to expect on the site! First off the whole thing is AS3, fs flash, and is heavily centered around 3d, and a lot of video.. however it will have an html counterpart as well for low bandwidth internet users. As of now I’m done with the basic Engine for the flash site, and now I’m creating all of the 3d for the site/other content… heres the first release.. even though its just an extremely small pic, I wanted to release something to show the quality of the renders i’ve been achieving and the theme of the site (space), (hey at least i released the techs used on the site)…Next Post… as3 tutorial… and or 3d… (my site is slowing me down from blogging!)
